“It Gives You Chills, Like Goosebumps”
Diego Luna’s World Cup Vision is Crystal Clear
Diego Luna has burst onto the USMNT scene this year, and his World Cup dreams are looking like a real possibility. He knows it’s not easy, and he’s grinding every day to make that happen.

Our take on the situation: Luna is a fantastic talent, and his mentality is sorely needed at the USMNT. He’s a hard worker and can be a difference maker for this team.
It’s Time to Get Back to the Basics
Tyler Adams Thinks It’s Time the USMNT Got Gritty Again
Tyler Adams is never shy to speak his opinions out loud. With Christian Pulisic out, he is expected to be the captain for the Gold Cup and he believes they need to get back to the basics like the older USMNT teams from the past.

Our take on the situation: Adams is not wrong. People associate the USMNT as hard-working team that makes the game difficult for others, but the current team looks too soft. That needs to change.
From Dallas to Venezia to Lyon
Tanner Tessmann Is Obsessed With Leveling Up
Tanner Tessman broke out as a youngster in MLS with FC Dallas, and moved to the Serie A to work on his defensive game. Then he was criticized for his physicality, so he moved to France, where they have strong athletes that play a fast-paced game.

Our take on the situation: It’s incredible to see Tessmann’s mentality. He doesn’t want to stay in his comfort zone, he is always looking to improve his game and become the best version of himself.
“The Game is Going in the Complete Wrong Direction"
Eric Wynalda BLASTS American Soccer’s Obsession with Analytics
Eric Wynalda believes the obsession with stats and analytics is going too far in MLS. He’s heard stories of clubs hiring analytical guys who don’t even know anything about soccer. They don’t watch games to analyze players, they use computers instead and only look at stats.

Our take on the situation: Wynalda is completely spot on. The eye test never lies. A player can look good on paper by having the “right” stats but look abysmal on the pitch. People need to be watching games.
Great Saturday for MLS Players That Got Selected for USMNT
Five MLS-Based USMNT Players in Goal Scoring Form
Mauricio Pochettino announced his USMNT roster on Thursday, which features a lot of MLS players. Two days later, five of them scored in MLS. Luca De La Torre, Patrick Agyemang, Quinn Sullivan, Diego Luna, and Brian White.

Our take on the situation: A year ago, there were barely any MLS players in the USMNT squad. Now, Pochettino is giving them an opportunity to impress. Let’s see if they can take this opportunity and ball out this summer.
No Jedi This Summer for USMNT
Poch Explains His Absence From The Roster
The USMNT will be missing several key players this summer. Like Christian Pulisic, Antonee Robinson will be sitting out. Mauricio Pochettino explained the defender has injury issues and it’s the best decision they came up with after talking to Fulham.

Our take on the situation: Fulham fans have been saying Robinson has been playing with an injury for a few months now. So it’s best for him to figure out his issues this summer, while the USMNT look for a suitable LB back-up for next summer.
