“Getting Help is the Brave Thing to Do”
Diego Luna Open Up About How Much Therapy is Helping Him
Diego Luna left home at 15 to pursue his soccer dreams. He’s lived in three states since, all away from his family, and he has struggled so much mentally. Plus, he became a father at 19. He said without therapy, he might become a name that people go, what happened to him?

Our take on the situation: Even if you don’t rate Luna as a player, you have to admire his outspoken personality. It’s great to see him seeking help and that’s not only going to help him as a person, but also as a player fighting for a spot in the World Cup squad.
“I Believe I Will Be There”
Gio Reyna on the 2026 World Cup
Gio Reyna recently spoke about why he made the move to Borussia Monchengladbach. It is to get regularly game time, which will help him get back to the national team. He believes he will be at the World Cup and he is in open contact with Mauricio Pochettino.

Our take on the situation: It’s good to see Reyna finally at a club that will play him regularly. Still 22, he’s very young and has plenty of time to build a career in Europe. Hopefully he balls out there and get back into the USMNT soon,
“I Wish Things were Different. But Well, That’s How It is”
Sergiño Dest on His Time at Barcelona
Sergiño Dest recently spoke in fluent Spanish about his time back at Barcelona, He said he feels proud to have played for them, and his time there made him become one of the leaders for the USMNT. He doesn’t get nervous during big games because he played the biggest games in Spain.

Our take on the situation: It was a huge deal for American soccer when Dest got the move to Barcelona. Unfortunately things didn’t work out, but it was still amazing to see a USMNT playing for such a massive club. And it helped Dest grow as a person and a player.
“If You Can Play Here, You Can Play Anywhere.”
James Sands on His Bundesliga Move
James Sands left his comfort zone by joining St. Pauli in January. Despite a major injury, they extended his loan until next year. Sands spoke about being in Germany, saying he wanted to challenge himself at the top level.

Our take on the situation: This is great to see. Sands has the mentality to not stay in MLS and fight for a place in Europe, even if he failed in his first stint. Now he is doing very well at St. Pauli and they have made a great start to the season.
“It’s the Definition of Being Back for Sure"
Ricardo Pepi on His Brace After Long Absence
Ricardo Pepi suffered an injury after scoring against Liverpool in January. After eight months, he returned this fall and scored a brace this weekend. He was all smiles after the game and said it’s the definition of being back.

Our take on the situation: It’s great to see Pepi returning and scoring again. He has a lot of potential and having him play again is a huge boost for the USMNT and PSV. Let’s hope to see him have a healthy season.
