Luca De La Torre’s Full-Circle Soccer Story
Luca De La Torre had to move to London by himself at 15 because there was no professional team in San Diego. Now he is back, and he wants to make the local kids fall in love with the game just like he did.

Our take on the situation: USMNT fans don’t like that Luca is back in MLS. But he is finally playing for his hometown club, he gets to be close to his family, and see the city fall in love with soccer. It’s a win, win, win situation.
Daryl Dike Just Won’t Quit
Daryl Dike is back. After back-to-back Achilles tears, he just scored his first goal in 482 days, which is also his first league goal in 780 days.

Our take on the situation: Dike is a tank. He has a unique build and physicality that can be useful for the USMNT. If he can put his injuries behind him, he can be huge for the Americans going forward.
Nick Rimando Broke the Mold
They said he can’t become a professional goalkeeper at 5’9. He’s now been inducted to the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Nick Rimando earned 22 caps for the USMNT and holds the MLS records for career wins, clean sheets, saves, and overall appearances.

Our take on the situation: Rimando wanted to become a goalkeeper and he didn’t let his height stop him. A lesson to always fight for your dreams no matter what people say.
Watch Out FC Dallas. There’s a New Club in Town
Atlético Dallas have been announced as new team set to join the USL Championship from 2027. They will be based in Garland, Texas.

Our take on the situation: It’s great to see soccer growing and Texas getting another team. Hopefully this will make FC Dallas put more effort in marketing and improving their team.
“No World Class Players in This USMNT Squad”
Kasey Keller isn’t holding back. When asked if there are world class players for the USMNT, he said no. The likes of Christian Pulisic and Antonee Robinson still have ways to go.

Our take on the situation: Keller is absolutely correct. Some USMNT players are playing at a top level but they’re still not world class, yet.
Infantino Wants USMNT on Top
Gianni Infantino believes the U.S. is the greatest country in the world and number one in everything. So why not in men’s soccer, too?

Our take on the situation: American players are now starting to appear in top clubs, but there is a long way to go. Will the home World Cup change things?
