“That’s My Job. I Should Have the Right to be Able to do My Job.”

Kasey Keller Hits Back at Tim Weah and Christian Pulisic

Kasey Keller saw things Tim Weah and Christian Pulisic said about American pundits, and he disagrees. He doesn’t think he is being mean or picking on anyone, he is just doing his job to analyze their performances. He also thinks they shouldn’t complain about getting too much attention.

Our take on the situation: Keller is not wrong here. Pundits get paid to analyze the team and the performances. If Weah and Pulisic don’t want criticism, they need to do a better job on the pitch because this isn’t good enough.

“Are We Criticizing or Are We Analyzing?

Tony Meola Responds to Tim Weah and Christian Pulisic

Tony Meola, just like Kasey Keller, isn’t too happy with Tim Weah and Christian Pulisic’s remarks. He said pundits are just analyzing their performances, which haven’t been good. Of course, he also compared what the USMNT players face to pressure national team players of Argentina, England, and Italy face. Not remotely the same.

Our take on the situation: Meola is spot on. He’s always been a sensible pundit who stays away from controversies. So if he is going on a rant, that’s because he really believes in what he’s saying. USMNT players need to learn how to accept criticism.

Exciting Time for Soccer Fans in Detroit, Michigan

Detroit City FC Announce Stadium Plans

Detroit City FC announced their new permanent soccer-specific stadium, which will seat 15,000 people. It will be called AlumniFi Field, and it is set to open by 2027. It will also be Detroit’s only privately owned and financed professional sports stadium.

Our take on the situation: This is fantastic news. Detroit City FC are known for having a passionate fanbase, and now that fanbase will have a great stadium they can call home. Big changes are coming to the USL soon and it’s nice to see their teams stepping up to build stadiums.

“Everyone Wants to Throw His Name in the Gutter.”

Tyler Adams Defends Christian Pulisic

Tyler Adams came out to defend Christian Pulisic’s decision to sit out for this summer’s Gold Cup. He basically said Pulisic made the best decision for himself and players all understand and respect him. Adams also said Pulisic is a huge figure and people want to throw his name in the gutter to create big stories.

Our take on the situation: Adams and Pulisic are close friends, so it’s no surprise he comes out in support of him. Adams himself had some injury issues but still wanted to play in the Gold Cup, but he understands why Pulisic chose to sit out.

They Could’ve Been a Soccer Power Couple

Spencer Shrader, Korbin Albert’s Husband, Almost Played Pro Soccer

You might know USWNT midfielder Korbin Albert’s husband, Spencer Shrader, as an NFL kicker. What you might not know is he could’ve been a professional soccer player down in Brazil. He went on a three-month trail there but unfortunately, he fractured his ankle.

Our take on the situation: Who knows how good Shrader could’ve been if he was developed properly down in Brazil. He and Albert could’ve been a soccer power couple. They are still a power couple though, as he made it in the NFL.
